ADMISSION CRITERIA
The following is a list of criteria that must be met before one could apply:
1. Current licensure as a registered nurse in Michigan.
2. Baccalaureate degree in nursing or an appropriate biological science degree.
3. An overall honor point average of 3.0 or above with a minimum HPA of 3.0 in all undergraduate sciences.
4. Eight undergraduate semester hours of inorganic, organic chemistry and/or biochemistry and four hours of biology or microbiology, taken within the past 10 years.
5. A minimum of one year full-time experience in adult SICU, MICU, CCU, within the past 2 years.
6. ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support Certification).
7. Completion of Graduate School Application.
8. Completion of the Graduate Prerequisite Courses, with a grade of "A" or "B".

9. GRE Examination (General Graduate Record Exam).
10. Personal interview scheduled with the Admissions Committee.
